The bladder is an important component of our urinary system, functioning as a reservoir and an excretory organ for urine. The presence of cancer disrupts the regular activities of the bladder.

This symptom may be intermittent, meaning that blood may be present in the urine one day and then disappear, only to reappear again after a few days or weeks. There may be some pain or no pain associated with the presence of blood in the urine.
